Santo Domingo, San Juan Pueblo, MSW, MPH, has devoted
his career to enhancing the health of the public,
particularly the health of American Indian and Alaska
Native people. He was the first American Indian to be
president of the prestigious American Public Health
Association.

Jarman,
Grand
Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, DVM, MPH
is a veterinarian with a masters degree in public
health.
Raymond Reid,
Navajo, MD, MPH, is field clinical director
for Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian
Health.
Lola Riggs,
Navajo, is senior manager for the northern region of
Coconino County Health Department, which oversees the
operation of the health services serving Page, Arizona
and the surrounding areas including the Navajo
Reservation, Fredonia, Colorado City, and the North Rim
of the Grand Canyon.
Del Yazzie,
MPH, is a medical student at the University of Arizona.
Prior to going to medical school he was the training
director at the Center for American Indian Health at
Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public
Health.
